American Family Insurance / Main Street American Insurance (subsidiary)
Context
My role for this project was lead UX/UI designer.
CLIX is used by independent insurance agents as a quote-to-bind tool for commercial lines of insurance. With a digital-first approach, CLIX offers an intuitive, comprehensive, and feature-rich experience, empowering agents to provide holistic sales servicing to better serve the needs of policyholders.
This product solves the problem of agents previously needing to log into many different quoting platforms depending on business type. CLIX provides an efficient way to integrate these decoupled platforms into a one-stop shop.

UX Research
To kickstart this project, my team discussed business requirements from stakeholders and closely collaborated with independent insurance agents, our target users.
Our approach to achieving project goals began with user research to understand their specific product requirements. Prioritizing user feedback was crucial in shaping a product that would seamlessly guide users through a self servicing quoting workflow.
The project's unique challenge was designing a dynamic all-in-one quoting platform capable of serving various business types.
The final result from my involvement in this project contributed to delivering a user-centric product that not only surpassed business requirements but also demonstrated adaptability to meet the diverse needs of users.
Design System
In addition to creating products from the ground up, my team and I collaborated to create reusable Figma components and make a design system. We used the atomic design methodology to make modular components that can grow and scale for our needs. This approach ensured consistency with brand guidelines across all teams and expedited design and development work. .
The workflow began to shape up as we combined business requirements with user feedback. Following these strategies in our designs resulted in an experience that effectively enhanced the value of our quoting platform. We strategically integrated dynamic features to achieve the goal of creating a flexible quoting solution for independent agents
